Background: In 2006, 11 graduate deans jointly requested a governor's proclamation to establish the first Graduate Education Week in Missouri. By 2014, 24 public and private institutions joined forces in the unique public information campaign.
The goal then, as it is now, is to enhance public awareness about the impact and outcomes of graduate education.
